During my tenure as Creative Director at GroupBaronet (in Dallas, Texas) one of my
key responsibilities was to promote and give an authentic visual voice to our brand. This project comprises a real deck of playing cards which shows off the studio’s portfolio of work.
The four cards visible reveal different
projects that I designed. Motion graphics for GTE Mainstreet television commercials; a newspaper ad for St. Paul Medical Center; a book jacket design for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra; and an ad for charlieuniformtango.

Miscommunication Cards
This set of notecards illustrates poor communication found in our own backyard.
Everyone in the studio found and photographed their own examples and we used the most hilarious ones. By pointing out what didn’t work, we sent a clear message to potential clients that we knew what did.

Ideology Identity Promo
Making use of some extra room on a press sheet, we developed a book of our corporate ID projects. The clever color play on the word “ideology” allowed for the letters ID to stand out. Inside we covered our philosophy toward crafting corporate logos and marks.
